Fall Day & Banana Pancakes

This weekend, my wife and I had a great Saturday while we celebrated the start of Fall.

As all perfect Saturday mornings should start, we made gluten-free banana pancakes, scrambled eggs and fruit. Here's a gluten-free tip: we use vanilla flavoring to sweeten the pancakes and also use greek yogurt to make the scrambled eggs fluffy. Another good substitute is to drizzle your pancakes with honey.

We really love Fall - favorite time of the year. Sitting on the back porch with breakfast while listening to our favorite Pandora station "Banana Pancakes", really hit the spot. We could of sat out there all day. This is extra special because Banana Pancakes was also a song played at our wedding. (cue the awwww sound)

After a great morning start we decided to go pick out pumpkins. This year my wife is really into the funky, weird-looking ones. The white ones really caught her eye, so we got a few of those. I think she might have a problem though, I found a stash of pumpkins in her car today... I think she's hiding them from me. Maybe we are starting a pumpkin patch?

Great start to the Fall season, perfect weather so far. Stay tuned for my review on the Chili Cook-off next!
