Shop Local: A Happy Halloween at Country Bumpkins

It's Halloween again in Wichita, KS. And for a man whose alter ego is a super hero, there's really no better time of year. When else can you wear a cape and not get akward stares?

In Wichita, there is really no better store to write about on Halloweens than Country Bumpkins Craft Shoppe at 3543 East Douglas Avenue.

Cindi, owner and creative genius behind the store's repurposed and crafty pieces, knows how to dress her shop at any season. But in my humble opinion, Halloween is when she's at her personal best. 

Country Bumpkins is located on Douglas near College Hill Caterers. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can't miss it. Because Cindi shows off her creations both inside and outside the store.

Although holidays are huge at Country Bumpkins, it is not strictly a holiday decor store. Country Bumpkins is brimming with vintage, repurposed, handmade, crafty goodness. From chippy white painted furniture to metal baskets lining the walls, this shop has the perfect piece of country flare to add to your house any time of year.

A little scary isn't it fellas....

Country home goods aren't the only thing Country Bumpkins is known for... just walk inside and take a whiff. Cindi's signature scent fills this shop. A blend of spice and fall, it is the perfect 'home sweet home' scent.
