8 Fun things to do in November...

There are many fun things to do for the end of fall and beginning of winter this year, but here's a random list of eight things that could fill your list.

1. Holiday Tables - November 3 - 5
Wichita Center for the Arts puts on Holiday Tables, to kick start holiday decor in Wichita. A great event to view tables created by designers and get holiday ideas.

2. Reba  - November 5, INTRUST Bank Arena
Reba's 2nd time to be in Wichita, this time with her own show. Special guests, The Band Perry, Steel Magnolia and Eden's Edge. Show starts at 6:30 p.m.

3. The Flea Market - November 13, at the Kansas Pavilions
Find treasures and deals at the Wichita Flea Market. Only once a month, and it's getting cold...go while you can shop without snow boots on. It's inside, but still.

4. "It's a Wonderful Life" performance - November 17 at the Orpheum Theater
Feeling in the holiday spirit already? Take the family to the classic, It's a Wonderful Life, shown at the Orpheum Theater for only $5 on November 17. You could probably watch it on TV, but it's more fun to go watch vintage Christmas movies in a vintage Orpheum theater

5. Annual Wreath Festival - November 17 - 18 Wichita Historical Museum
Find holiday gifts, baked goods of all kinds, and special exhibits at the Annual Wichita Wreath Festival. Held in the Wichita County Historical Museum.

6. 36th Annual Turkey Trot - November 19 Old Cowtown Museum
Wanna run of some of those calories before the big turkey? There are a variety of runs in during November in Wichita, but this one sounded fun. This race benefits the Kansas Food Bank and starts off the holiday food drive.

7. UAB vs. WSU November 25 INTRUST Bank Arena
Wichita State University takes on the University of Alabama at the INTRUST Bank Arena on November 25. Last year when WSU played in the Arena, it was a sold out crowd. Watch the action in a fun venue.

8. Illuminations November 25 - December 30 At Botanica
Walk through the beautiful botanical gardens while more than 5,000 luminaries light your path. Music groups preform and there are hot drinks served to keep you warm.
