I saw these tips using a rubber-band and thought they were useful for activities around the house. These are done using the ones you find around your fresh produce at the grocery store.

1. Save your paint can from becoming a mess, and distribute the paint evenly by wrapping this around the can.

2. Having trouble with a stripped screw? Place the rubber-band between the screw and the driver to give you the extra grip you need.
