Welcome to another hole-in-the-wall Mexican Restaurant that has been around for years. This place is unlike any other, and if you haven't been for lunch yet... you will now.
Located downtown, hop on over on your lunch break and your taste-buds will thank you.
First up, order a mexican pop or go ahead and dare to order the "Rice Water". This is pretty much the most amazing drink that tastes like cinnamon-roll milk. They make it by boiling down rice, water, cinnamon sticks and a touch of sugar.
Don't be concerned about the bars on the windows, they are just protecting the Tortas. Yep, they are
that good.
While waiting on your Totra, you can view the many beautiful murals...
Order in or order to-go at the front, or take a seat and a server will help you.

I'm still unsure what these two sauces are... but they are good.
Drumroll please... here is the Chicken Torta, which comes with a side of charred Jalepeno.
And the beef Torta...
This is my hungry face. Sometimes I have to eat a Snickers to satisfy the hunger. What makes me even more satisfied than a Snickers is a Torta. This thing is monster.

1425 E Central Ave Wichita, KS 67214. It's in a strip mall, so kinda easy to miss. You may have heard it as Laura's Super Tortas before... we aren't sure where Laura went, but the name has changed. The Tortas have not.
