Great Harvest Bread Company

There's a reason why these doors to Great Harvest Bread Co. look heavenly... once you walk in, you will know why by the aroma of fresh baked breads and pastries.

Pick up, stay for a meal, or order for catering sandwiches, sweets and treats everyone will enjoy.
I'm not saying they are known for their cinnamon rolls, but they should be. Get to know these rolled up buns of cinnamon goodness and you will understand.
The display case in front is filled with all kinds of freshly made treats. Ranging from Kahuna bars....
 to no-bake cookies...
to something slightly more healthy, a Cranberry Oat Bar...
But, don't forget the Double Chocolate Brownies.
Check out Mr. Pig on the counter for the soups of the day. It's a great place to go for lunch, many different sandwiches on amazing bread and salads too.

Your local bagel shop, ready to go!

At the front of the store, there is a sampling tray where you can try a slice of their famous breads.
Inside the restaurant there are many different products that you can purchase for gifts, or just yourself! Including the new Junior League or Wichita cookbook, fresh pastas, spices and soups.
One of their signature items is their whole grain milled flour. They freshly mill their flour in the bakery every day. It's 100% whole grain and the ingredients you can actually pronounce.
Small packets of ready to go recipes like below... Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal.
A great snack at a great price, bagel chips!
yummy spreads and jams ready for gifts

Hardworking in the kitchen to hand-make the sandwiches and panini for the day.
Granola and bread cooling after baking.

In the kitchen there is a huge machine where the shelves or bread slowly rotate throughout the baking process.
This is the room that they mill the flour in...
I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on Dakota bread... amazing.

Great Harvest Bread Co. moved to this location late 2010, and so far has been loving this spot. Located on Woodlawn and Central it's a great place to stop by and have lunch or pick up bagels on the way to work. They are a family-owned business and community focused, stop by and check them out. Also visit their website and facebook pages.
