Restaurant Review: Cafe Maurice

Last night, my wife and I decided that to celebrate the first frost of the fall, we should go get something warm and filling for dinner. On our way to Cinnamon's Deli, another great restaurant we love, we saw the new restaurant Cafe Maurice, a few spots down. It has a mix of French and Mediterranean cuisine, which is very interesting. 

Block Party: Rockwood

Today I am in the beautiful neighborhood called Rockwood, located on the Northeast side of Wichita. Rockwood has developed neighborhoods with with sprawling ranches and two-stories houses on tree-lined streets. Another plus is the Rockwood pool filled with great families to grow with.

Restaurant Hop: Part Two

After a relaxing and entertaining start to our appetizers at Sabor, we decided to try out the new Italian place in Uptown. LUCA, an Italian kitchen, formerly the Mediterranean restaurant Uptown Bistro, has now been renovated to surprise and delight Wichitans.

The wine list is extensive, and ranges from many light and full bodied wines. Ask your server, they could help you pick out the right one.

Restaurant Hop: Part 1

A few weekends ago, we did the restaurant hop. You know, appetizers at one place, dinner at the next, and dessert at another place.

First stop: Sabor Latin Bar & Grill
This is a fun place to go on Friday and Saturday night. You know why? - Live music. Has anyone heard this guy sing and strum his Latin guitar? It's awesome.

Restaurant Review: Jeanne's Cafe

Last Friday, we went to Jeanne's... and we stayed at Jeanne's. After enjoying a late breakfast, we decided to stay and listen to funny stories from the waitresses until it was time to order pie. They are awesome, and so was the pie. See the photo below, I had the skillet special with hashbrowns instead of potatoes.

Ready, set, SOLD!

Last week I had a charming house located in College Hill for sale. After looking at the home I decided to bring in my cleaner, Professional Stager, Lauren Johnson, and my professional Photographer, Jenna Unruh to get the house to looking it's best. Green Refinishing also came in and refinished the countertops.


After placing the photos online, I had a call within 20 minutes, for a showing that night. This became the first and last showing, as they made an offer that evening, and entered a contract all in 24 hours.
