Restaurant Hop: Part Two

After a relaxing and entertaining start to our appetizers at Sabor, we decided to try out the new Italian place in Uptown. LUCA, an Italian kitchen, formerly the Mediterranean restaurant Uptown Bistro, has now been renovated to surprise and delight Wichitans.

The wine list is extensive, and ranges from many light and full bodied wines. Ask your server, they could help you pick out the right one.

Restaurant Hop: Part 1

A few weekends ago, we did the restaurant hop. You know, appetizers at one place, dinner at the next, and dessert at another place.

First stop: Sabor Latin Bar & Grill
This is a fun place to go on Friday and Saturday night. You know why? - Live music. Has anyone heard this guy sing and strum his Latin guitar? It's awesome.

I love Sumo.

Funny stories are always funny.

This weekend my wife and I joined another couple in Hades a.k.a. Sumo, a japenese grill. It was already 110 degrees outside, we were standing by the west entrance windows so it was a sauna. They said it was cooler in the back, so we were seated on high hopes. After sitting there for about 5 minutes we realized the conditioner was broken. The great thing about Sumo is a 500 degree grill that catches on fire sits directly in front of you. See photo below.
