Monica's Bundt Cake Co.

The other day, I had the pleasure of stopping by the famous Monica's Bundt Cake Co. in Wichita.  She has a really interesting bakery located downtown on Douglas filled with vintage bakery equipment.

You probably have seen her Bundt cakes all over, even in Dillons. She delivers fresh cakes to more than 13 different Dillons stores. There are regular size bundts and mini bundts (as seen below) and cakeballs.
In the actual bakery downtown, she has yummy bite-sized samples so of course we tried them out to make sure they were delicious. They were.

The store is decorated with bright colors and who Monica calls "her girls" decorate the wall.
Here there is tiny shopping cart in the bakery where Monica shows that they use the freshest possible ingredients they can.
Need a Barbie cake? They make them here...
Here's a version of the traditional birthday bundt cake. You can dress this up with a bow in the middle or even flowers.
They do wedding and birthday cakes...
"Oh, it's a bundt!" If you have seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding, this will make sense. If not, go watch the video and then go buy a bundt cake.

Monica's participates in the Second Saturday, so if you shop local, visit the bakery on Second Saturday and get discounts!
She makes tiny cakes for different occasions...
and a crazy cake that only Monica's makes in Wichita called the Pie-in-a-cake. There are three pies in this tower she has below. They can be made many different ways with peach, cherry or apple pies in the middle of cake. I'm telling you, this thing is a show stopper. Order for your next big party, this one feeds 48 - 60 people!
When we were in the bakery, Monica happened to be getting ready for a Valentines photo shoot, here's a tiny sneak peek of the table.

This mixer full or frosting is huge and so cool in person. Whipped cream cheese frosting ready to go!
Mini-bundt cakes ready for the topping.
Monica has a ton of bundt pans, for obvious reasons.

King Cakes are coming, if you need a Mardi Gras King Cake call Monica to order yours today.
Don't miss the green and pink striped awning on Douglas for one-of-a-kind sweet treat! Visit her website, and check out her facebook page too.

 And for a little funny...
