Artichoke Sandwich Bar & a Giveaway!

There is no shortage of shamrocks at Artichoke Sandwich Bar on North Broadway. Luckily, I'm one quarter Irish, so I think that means I fit right in.

From the buttons on the walls to the leprechaun on the bar; there is plenty of Irish pride to go around. It just so happens that they also take great pride in their sandwiches!

I stopped by the 'Choke, as it is in known by the regulars, for Paddy's Pickled Pepper Wrap. This grilled wrap was filled with pickles, jalapeños, gooey swiss and cream cheese, and (like any good Irishman would order) corned beef. As you can tell by my empty basket, I enjoyed it.

It is the combination of Irish pride and the amazing food that makes Artichoke Sandwich Bar the perfect stop for your St. Patricks Day festivities.

This Saturday, March 17,  join the Wichita Irish Cultural Association and Artichoke Sandwich Bar for the 3rd Annual Irish Festival. Following the noon parade, Artichoke's festivities begin at 1:00 pm.

Artichoke Sandwich Bar's St. Patrick's Day Tent Festival will feature Irish dancers, music and Mulligan Stew, that's Corned Beef and Cabbage, for those of you who may not be in the know like me...

Sadly, I have never been there so I THINK that Paddy's Pickled Pepper wrap washed down with a Tall Guiness on a nice spring Day sounds pretty phenomenal.

I love their hot ham & swiss on an onion roll. I've been going there for alot of years. And by the way, Jake, it's corned beef.
