Cocoa Dolce: Part One

I had the pleasure of stopping by local chocolate artisan shop, Cocoa Dolce the other day. Not only was the chocolate tasting amazing... but we got a behind the scenes tour for you all. Take a walk with me through the famous chocolate shop in Bradley Fair, Cocoa Dolce.

Almost every flavored syrup you can think of.
Bittersweet Chocolate Calets...

Here's a true behind the scenes look: The sample tray that they pull chocolates from. Some chocolates don't make the pretty package, but are still true delicious samples!

Salted Caramels...
Are these mouth-watering or what?
We also ordered some of the prized hot chocolate. It's like drinking melted chocolate butter = insanely good. I got the one called Mexican Hot Chocolate (one of their best sellers) - Brown sugar sweetened bittersweet chocolate with cinnamon and vanilla.

In the lobby, there's a relaxing set up to hang out and enjoy some of the finest chocolate in Wichita.

The owner and Master Chocolatier, Beth Tully, doesn't like to brag on herself, so I will. There's a feature wall in the shop with all of the really cool press Cocoa Dolce has received. If you don't know Beth's story, she decided to leave the corporate world of a Fortune 500 company and follow a dream to open a special chocolate shop. Amazing success she has had.
Look at all those awards...
They have even made it all the way to the White House for President Obama!
A funny decal on the restroom doors...
Artisan Cocoa Mix ready to ship!
Truffles ready to be put in the display cases...

Stay tuned for Part 2 of Cocoa Dolce tomorrow!
